Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Plain English summary: Use Fetchly only to download content you own or have the right to save. One license = one Mac. No refunds after 5-day trial. Don't reverse-engineer the app.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Fetchly ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

2. License

Fetchly grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the app on one macOS device. Your license key activates one device at a time. Activating on a new device deactivates the previous one.

3. Acceptable use

Fetchly is a tool for downloading media. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to download any content. Acceptable uses include:

Fetchly may not be used to download content in violation of copyright, platform terms of service, or applicable law. We are not responsible for how you use the app.

4. Free trial

Fetchly includes a 5-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required. After 5 days, a license purchase is required to continue using the app.

5. Payment and refunds

Purchases are processed by Gumroad. The price is a one-time payment granting lifetime access to the current version and future updates. Because a 5-day free trial is provided before any payment is required, we do not offer refunds after purchase. If you experience a technical issue, contact support@getfetchly.app and we'll make it right.

6. Updates

Lifetime license holders receive all future updates at no additional cost. We reserve the right to change features, pricing for new customers, or discontinue the app with reasonable notice.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Fetchly is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will work with every website or video format, as third-party sites change their systems frequently. We are not liable for any data loss, failed downloads, or indirect damages.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in South African courts.
